CANTERBURY TALES BOOK DESIGN

In an advanced typography class, we were assigned a book to make two different book jacket sleeves for. Each had to be different, but could share similar qualities. They also both had to have typography be the main focus of the cover. The first shows quotes from the book all over the cover indicating the different stories from the book. The second has a texture that indicates leather given the era the Canterbury Tales was written. Then after two jackets were designed, I went on to design the inside contents of the book creating a typographic rule system.
